A one, two, three, four ...

The Fab Lads is a super-fun duo that brings the beloved sounds of the Beatles, their contemporaries, and the many other acts and artists influenced by them in every era (which is everyone, basically) to any event and occasion.

It's crazy—along with all that great Beatles music, a Fab Lads show can and often does vary wildly. It could be the Kinks one minute and Led Zeppelin the next. It could be the Everly Brothers on the one hand and then Yes on the other. Their set has been known to veer suddenly from Elvis Costello or Duran Duran straight into Gordon Lightfoot or Lindsey Buckingham. Their repertoire covers every era, and not just the hits, either—many a surprised listener has been amazed by some remarkably deeeeeeep tracks (10cc, Gram Parsons or Split Enz, anyone?). Having a ’90s flashback or an ’80s night? Check. Want the best of the ’70s? Check that too. How about a seemingly encyclopedic set of ’60s British Invasion? Really check that. They've even been known to bust out a couple 1950s gems, if you can believe that. They may even veer off into metal, synth-pop, retro-space-age-cocktail-lounge, traditional Hungarian folk or god knows what else at any given moment. And when requests are taken, well, buckle up—all bets are off because the Fab Lads will take a swipe at just about anything. And it all circles back to the brilliance of the Beatles.

That's Martin Shears on guitar, piano and vocals (and something called a kazoosaphone here and there), and Jeff Owens on bass guitar and vocals, bringing electrifying musical chops, gloriously tight-knit vocal harmony and a boatload of laughs to every show. In short, the Fab Lads deliver a fun, friendly and musically intimate dose of fantastic music by the act you’ve known for all these years—the Beatles, plus fellow artists of their era and everyone influenced by them in every era. Which, again, is everybody.
